PBXes IP blacklisted by Callwithus 01.11.2018 15:17 Forum: Bugs

Hi,
Had a problem this morning with outgoing calls. It was caused by a trunk attempting to connect to Callwithus using an invalid username, the IP was subsequently blacklisted.
The invalid username is 050685173. Can you locate and delete this trunk before it causes us problems again.
Thanks

IP repeatedly banned by call provider 27.09.2016 13:51 Forum: Miscellaneous

My call provider keeps banning pbxes IP address because of repeated invalid requests. I have searched my log and they don't come from me with this port number. Is there any way to block these requests from this user as its causing me problems.

quote from my call provider:
Your IP address is being banned because you offer invalid usernames:

Sep 27 04:20:57 west2 /usr/local/sbin/kamailio[449]: ALERT: <script>: Invalid username 166392072 from udp:144.76.38.78:27537

First thing to try is a softphone, any should work to prove your config is ok first, I have always found cheap and cheerful routers easiest to start with. Can't help you specifically with your setup.

RE: HELP Needed ! Inbound/Outbound BUSY SIGNAL CALL MONITOR 12.05.2015 15:04 Forum: Terminal Equipment

Hi,
Sorry I can't be more help, but the pbxes help section mentions alternative ports and the use of ip address rather than name. I don't know if thats current or superceded information.
Also I note your spa is set to sip port 5064, don't know if that makes any difference. Maybe the answer lies in the pbxes log ?
You don't mention if your present config has ever worked or if any other extensions work (a soft phone for example).
Regards

Note:
Because of DNS entries for pbxes.org your device may be selecting port 5060 automatically. If you want to use an alternative port enter 144.76.38.78 as SIP server.

RE: HELP Needed ! Inbound/Outbound BUSY SIGNAL CALL MONITOR 11.05.2015 16:26 Forum: Terminal Equipment

Try proxy pbxes.org without the port setting 53
Reduce register expiry to 120 whilst testing
Reboot router
If it registers then fails registration after 120 secs try using NAT

Outbound routes also allow multiple extensions to be used with a particular trunk, which is a useful feature.

Why don't you just set up an outbound route for whatever extension you want , there are no limitations I am aware of.

Hi IPtel,
Could you confirm which passwords need changing please.
You mention Trunks, but are sip extensions and pbxes logins also affected ?

Hi,
Sorry, I have no experience of the intercom function.
There are however a couple of references in pbxes forums which may be relevant to you although they are not recent:

Hi,
are you saying that you cannot directly dial any extension numbers from your sip extensions, but other calls work ok ?
What appears in your call monitor ?
Sounds like your sip device isn't configured properly

RE: Use Cisco SPA122 to conect to a PSTN line as trunk 01.08.2014 11:40 Forum: Terminal Equipment

The SPA122 does not have an FXO port to connect to a pstn line, according to the manual. The SPA3102 has an FXO port and works fine with pbxes.
